Kenmeikan Dojo practices the weapon arts of Iaido (the art of drawing the sword) and Jodo (the way of the Jo).

If you are 18+ and would like to give these arts a try then contact us. :-)

We welcome those that want to come along and watch before they try... and the first lesson is free.

Fees

BKA (Governing body) Fees

Temporary BKA Membership: After an initial trial lesson all members must be covered by insurance, in this case, provided by the British Kendo Association. New members can benefit from a 3-month temporary BKA membership for £10.

Full BKA membership: Once a trial membership has expired you can continue training with a full membership. Concessions etc are available. For full details follow the link.

Dojo Fees

Free lesson: Interested people are invited to make contact and come along for a free lesson to either watch or take part. Simply wear loose clothing such as jogging bottoms and a plain t-shirt.

Members with Temporary BKA memberships: £7/class or £22/month as preferred.

Full BKA members: £22/month on 1st class of each month
